CEO, STG Design

im Susman, the "S" in STG Design, is one of Austin’s most influential designers and architects behind such major city landmarks as Block 185 (The Google Sail Building), Seaholm Power Plant redevelopment, Oracle campus, The Thinkery, Lower Colorado River Authority headquarters complex, and the Governor’s Mansion.

Prior to TGE, Mr. Desai served in the global strategy consulting team of Strategy, at Price Waterhouse Coopers (“PWC”), a big four accounting firm, as a Finance and Operations Strategy

Associate. At PWC Strategy&, he notably developed a global procurement strategy for a Fortune 100 client, identifying cost-saving opportunities and leading the company's first global RFP. Previously, for Loan Ranger Capital, Mr. Desai supported the company's expansion from Texas to Colorado that resulted in dramatic new loan volumes for the company.

Jim was awarded the Medal for Lifetime Achievement from Texas Society of Architects and is Chair-elect for the UT School of Architecture Advisory Council. Beyond his architectural work, Jim is

actively shaping Austin’s urban future, particularly in affordable housing and water conservation.

With a Master of Architecture from the University of Texas and a Master of Design Studies from Harvard University, he continues to push for sustainable urban growth and forward-thinking design solutions.
